Raid Rules

Here are some of the raid rules that we will be using as a guild. This is not a complete list, so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to contact one of the guild officers.

Raid Times: We raid at 5p server time on Fri/Sat. Friday will be a full night (up to 5 hrs) and Saturday is clean up. You should be on 30 minutes before the raid starts. If you know you are running late, let us know about it ahead of time. If not, we will replace you.

Raid Acceptance/Decline: You should accept or decline a raid by Thursday. Just look at the calendar and select one. This way we know who is coming or not. It is ok to decline a raid. If you accept a raid, be sure to show up. No shows will not be tolerated. If you commit to the raid, then go on the raid. Don't leave early. If you don't think you can go on the entire raid, then please decline. If you accept, we are depending on you.

Amount of Raids per month: You must at least go on one full raid per month. We are not hardcore raiders by any means, but if you don't raid at all, you may want to choose a guild that suits your raid times better. If you accept and cannot go because the raid if full, then you meet the criteria of this rule.

Loot Rules: Need before Greed main spec first. For 10 man raids this is the only rule. For 25 man raids, you can only receive 2 boss epics and 1 tier piece per run. If everyone that can use an item has met this criteria, then it will become need before greed again. We will not use DKP, so this system ensures that everyone gets a fair chance at loot.

Be the best you can be: Don't show up to raids with sub par dps/heals/tanking ability. Check the forums to maximize efficiency. Be sure to gem and enchant gear as well. This will help the guild as a whole. If you get full heroic set gear, you will be ready for 25 man Naxx/OS. Run heroic dungeons during the week to get as much gear as possible.
